Pakistan government has leased the popular Roosevelt Hotel in New York for three years, confirmed by Minister for Railways and Aviation Khawaja Saad Rafique. The agreement will produce a revenue of $220 million (PKR 63,025,864,000).
Khawaja Saad Rafique further stated that the previous government operated the hotel through a public-private partnership which did not generate much revenue. Now 1,250 rooms have been leased under the agreement.
He further mentioned that Roosevelt’s location and facilities provided make it a significant deal. The hotel is located in vibrant New York city with an iconic metropolis, where you can find streets bustling even at night. New York is a hub of business and homes towering buildings, art, museums, and entertainment options.
The hotel can serve as a wonderful affordable staying facility for visitors to New York. In addition, it will also help Pakistan in the wake of economic crisis.
