Prime Minister Imran Khan announced that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) met its Rs441 billion tax collection target for February.
On Twitter, Khan stated that the federal tax-collecting agency has successfully met the February collection target of Rs. 441 billion, achieving healthy growth of 28.5% and up to monthly growth of more than 30%.
“Because of the Federal Board of Revenue’s performance, we are able to subsidise fuel, diesel, and electricity and provide relief to our people,” Khan wrote on Twitter.
Khan stated that Pakistanis were provided relief in the form of lower power tariffs and cheaper gasoline since the country now has more money.
