On the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Imran Khan will begin a two-day official visit to Russia on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister will be joined by a high-level group that includes Cabinet members.
Pakistan and Russia have amicable relations characterised by mutual respect, trust, and agreement on a variety of international and regional problems.
The two leaders will evaluate the whole range of bilateral relations, including energy cooperation, during the Summit meeting.
They will also engage in a wide-ranging discussion on key regional and international topics, such as Islamophobia and the situation in Afghanistan.
The Prime Minister’s visit will help to strengthen the comprehensive Pakistan-Russia bilateral relationship and mutual collaboration in a variety of fields.
