The Imran Khan-led federal government has recently approved the appointment of Prime Minister Azam Khan’s secretary as Executive Director of the World Bank (WB) for a four-year term.
According to a notification released by the Cabinet Secretariat Establishment division, Azam Khan, Prime Minister’s Secretary, has been appointed to the World Bank for a four-year time span beginning from November 1.
The present director, Naveed Kamran Baloch, will step down in November and Azam Khan, a member of the 1990 batch of the Central Superior Services of KP cadre, will take his place.
