PM Shehbaz Sharif Arrived in Saudi Arabia for Future Investment Initiative Summit

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday for an important two-day visit focused on strengthening ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and participating in the Future Investment Initiative (FII) summit. Upon his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by Riyadh’s Deputy Governor, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, along with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq.

The Prime Minister’s delegation includes several key cabinet ministers, such as those in charge of finance, defense, and petroleum. These officials will join him in discussions that aim to foster cooperation across various areas.

This year’s FII summit, themed “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow,” brings together global leaders to address pressing issues impacting the world today. Topics such as artificial intelligence, energy challenges, and sustainability efforts are on the agenda. During the summit, Prime Minister Shahbaz will hold talks with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and other top officials. These discussions are expected to explore ways to strengthen economic ties, boost investment opportunities, and enhance strategic partnerships between the two nations.

This visit is a key moment for both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to build on their strong relationship, with hopes of creating lasting economic and strategic benefits for both countries.
