The top scorer of the Gujranwala Board’s Matriculation Examination 2023, Jamshed Ali, visited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Monday. The Prime Minister praised Jamshed Ali for his outstanding achievement and rewarded him with a cash prize of one million rupees.
Shehbaz Sharif also promised to provide full financial support for Jamshed’s education up to the Masters level and announced a monthly stipend of Rs30,000 for him.
The meeting was attended by Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Rana Tanvir Hussain, Jamshed Ali’s mother, his teacher, and the Chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Gujranwala. The BISE Gujranwala had announced this year’s Matric results the previous week.
