Recently, PM Shehbaz Sharif expressed the devotion regarding recent IMF (International Monetary Fund) programme.
PM talked to Kristalina Georgieva Managing Director of IMF in Egypt recently on the sidelines of the COP 27 summit.
Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the reason of global recession due to COVID-19 pandemic and the havoc floods which affected pace of Pakistan’s economic recovery.
He further informed that budget estimation has been changed in order for immediate support and rehabilitation of flood victims.
While knowing the cooperation of IMF, Shehbaz Sharif vows to finish the current IMF programme.
Moreover, he expressed hope that the COP27 summit would be a milestone in order to achieve the climate justice.
