Arshad Nadeem, who won the hearts of Pakistanis in Olympics 2020 was invited by the PNY Trainings as a guest of honor in a ceremony held. He was applauded and set as a role model for the younger generations to work hard and be consistent and persistent in achieving their goals.
It was honor for PNY to have him, they welcomed him with full enthusiasm. The ceremony was held on 28th August 2021 at Arfa Tower Auditorium, he was ecstatic to be a part of the ceremony to which he said, “I’m thankful to Mr. Wahab Yunus and his team for inviting me, I’m happy to be here, it is an honor. The size does not matter, whether it is big or small only the efforts matter. I appreciate PNY for contributing and paying back to Pakistan”.
PNY trainings awarded him with Rs50, 000 cash for making to the finals even though he could not win the Gold medal, he is still very important. In Pakistan the only attention in sports is given to cricket team, even our national sports team has been long forgotten due to lack of funds as it is a developing country.
“Life has different phases and in each phase we learn and earn but we should always keep in our mind that we whatever we are doing daily, at the end we should do something for our country, our homeland. We should work in all phases and keep on working hard because hard work always pays off.”
The ceremony was closed off by the patriotic slogan of “Pakistan Zindabad”, long live Pakistan.
