The largest automotive marketplace in the UK, Car Trader, has conducted a study to determine which vehicles are the most visually appealing.
In order to determine which automobiles catch our attention the quickest and hold it the longest, study participants were instructed to view a sequence of 40 photographs of the world’s best-selling car models while their eye movements were tracked.
Porsche, a premium German automaker, won the competition with a score of 91% for “eye-catching” design on one of its most well-known models.
The premium car attracted participants’ attention for an average of 2.51 seconds, and it took them just two and a half seconds to locate it on their screens.
