The price of broiler chicken has reached the lowest level of this year while the price of eggs has reached the highest level in the history of Pakistan.
According to the details, the price of live broiler chicken was Rs 295 per kg and chicken meat was Rs 455 per kg in the open market. For the first time this year, the price of chicken has come below Rs 300, whereas since January 1, chicken has been selling at Rs 350 to 415 kg.
In this regard, Poultry Union Vice President Arshad Farooq has said that the price of chicken will further decrease in the coming days while the price of eggs will increase.
Talking about the prices of eggs, they are currently selling at the highest level in the country’s history with Rs 332 per dozen. Desi eggs started selling at Rs 750 and red farm eggs at Rs 450 per dozen.
