Malik Amin Aslam, the Prime Minister’s Climate Change Adviser, stated that both the federal and provincial governments are working hard to promote ecotourism.
Amin Aslam told journalists that Prime Minister Imran Khan had urged international investors to invest in Pakistan’s tourist sector.
He stated that investors would be aided and given complete protection. The government has concentrated its efforts on protecting existing forests and the growth of new ones in the country to promote tourism and the environment.
Meanwhile, the adviser added that national heroes should be honoured at a ceremony held at PC Malam Jabba. The ceremony’s subject was Pride of Pakistan, intending to honour those who have made significant contributions to the country’s interests.
He spoke as the chief guest at the first-ever National Grass Ski Competition in Malam Jabba, where he presented the winning individuals and teams with trophies and awards. The Malam Jabba Ski Resort staged a two-day tournament that drew many tourists and local onlookers.
