PTA Blocks Online Content, Restricts Websites and Social Media via Web Monitoring System

PTA has taken new steps to protect online privacy by blocking a large number of websites, social media links, and mobile apps.

In a recent report presented to the National Assembly, the PTA revealed that it has restricted access to 2,369 web links and 183 mobile applications. These platforms were involved in exposing personal data and identity information, posing a risk to users’ privacy.

This move is part of the PTA’s ongoing efforts through its Web Monitoring System to strengthen cybersecurity and shield internet users from online threats. By taking these actions, the PTA aims to create a safer online environment where people’s personal information is better protected.

The blocking of these websites and apps underscores the importance of safeguarding digital privacy in an increasingly connected world. The PTA’s efforts are seen as a crucial step in ensuring that the internet remains a secure space for everyone.
