PTA- the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has recently directed the CMO- Cellular Mobile Operators to improve the network coverage and its performance by maintaining the Quality of Service as per the given license standards.
As per the official statement by PTA, the complaints by public regarding the degradation in the quality of service and the results of PTA surveys, it has been observed that the lack of the expansion of network and the insufficient network or sites are also the causes of issues in Quality of Services (Qos).
Moreover, the CMOs have also been asked to take the concrete measures for resolving the of root causes by ensuring the stability of network and the adequate coverage through the expansion of these networks mostly significantly in the urban areas that are populated densely.
