The Muslim League (Q) held a rally in Lahore in support of the Pakistan Army, led by the party’s chief organiser Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
The rally in support of the armed forces began at the Muslim League House and ended at the Press Club via Davies Road, where participants continued to shout pro-military slogans.
On this occasion, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain stated that what these people did on May 9 was unprecedented in 75 years, that what India and terrorists could not accomplish was accomplished by a few miscreants, and that anyone who speaks against Pakistan should be punished. Those who incite vandalism should be prohibited.
He stated that whoever speaks against the Army Chief speaks against Pakistan, and that whether an election is held or not, the PTI will know its future soon.
On this occasion, Chaudhry Shafi Hussain stated that what happened on May 9 was unprecedented in the country’s history, and that true freedom was only achieved on August 14.
