From January 21, PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC)- 2020 finally kicks off in Dubai. As per the outlet of foreign media, a total of 16 teams across the globe is fighting for their particular share of PMGC that has a total prize pool of $2 million, which is also the biggest in the history of a single tournament of PUBG MOBILE E-sports.
The Finals of PMGC are held at the Arena in Dubai because that has a huge seating capacity of around 17,000 people. However, the audience will not be there due to the COVID-19 pandemic as the protocols have been set.
All total 16 teams are competing in the prestigious Finals of PMGC. The teams are Bigetron Red Aliens, Four Angry Men, Klas Digital Athletics, RRQ Athena, Konina Power, POWER888 KPS, Abrupt Slayers, Secret Jin, Futbolist, Z3US Esports, Nova XQF, Natus Vincere, Alpha7 Esports, Team Secret and A1 Esports, and, Aerowolf Limax.
The Department of Tourism and the Dubai Sports Council is supporting this tournament that is by the Commerce Marketing of Dubai Tourism, whereas the finals can be viewed on PUBG MOBILE E-sports, Facebook, YouTube, and the Twitch channels or sports channels.
The PMGC League has concluded that with an exciting ‘super weekend’ of December 20, 2020, the pitting of 24 teams from the various tournaments that are against each other over 60 matches in total.
The Director of PUBG MOBILE Global E-sports, James Yang, said that the previous year 2020 have seen us announced the biggest prize pool in the history of PUBG Mobile that it had made our fans break the viewership records; however, it is now coming to a close up with most deserving 16 teams that are selected from across worldwide for creating history in Dubai.
