An urgent meeting of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises has been summoned by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Sources claim that tomorrow, Friday, the PSL franchises will meet in a significant meeting where the topic of moving the matches from Punjab to Karachi will be discussed.
After consulting with the franchises, PCB would move the Lahore and Rawalpindi matches to Karachi.
PCB spent 5 crores for food and drink, but the Punjab government requested 50 crore rupees to organise the matches.
The remaining 45 crores were also requested by the Punjabi government for illumination and security. The sources claim that PCB can move the matches to Karachi and avoid these costs by not incurring them in order to host matches there.
