Government of the Punjab through various youth related initiatives is providing opportunities to the young graduates to nurture and grow the youth ecosystem in the province which are 62% of Punjab. In this backdrop, Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has a strong commitment to continue empowering the youth of Pakistan by inculcating the “skills of future” and to make them realize the importance to acquire employable skills in the digital space that is in consonance with the degree they are pursuing for in future.
However, it goes without saying that both education and skills go hand in hand and each has its own significance. In this regard, Universities play a significant role as hubs of knowledge development among youth for boosting knowledge economy. Such knowledge can then be applied to innovation, research and economic development.
In recognition of the fact that the youth are essential assets to build our future, Government of the Punjab with campaign awareness orientation/an executej lytopla nned has PITB through different public sector Universities.
The events will be organized in different public sector Universities of ten (10) cities of Punjab.
The event will comprise of various engaging activities and talks from representatives of PITB, University Government officials and renowned motivational speakers.
The honorable guests will highlight the importance of skills and knowledge for youth that they need to succeed in today’s global economy.
The activity will be graced by the presence of worthy Ministers and other notable dignitaries.
The students of Universities are encouraged to attend these events and learn about the inspiring stories of Pakistan. The motivational speakers and other notable dignitaries will inspire the audience on how education and skills go hand in hand and plays the role to become successful as well as give back to the community.
