Punjab Govt to Build 3 Marla Houses for Low-Income People

According to the official sources, Makhdoom Hashim Jawan Bakht- Punjab’s Finance Minister, revealed in a statement that the Punjab Govt has decided to construct three-Marla houses for the people who are living hand-to-mouth and having low-income sources.

As per the sources, these houses will be built on the government-owned land, that is identified by the commission of Revenue in semi-rural areas.

To construct these inexpensive and affordable houses, the provincial administration has been working with the New Pakistan Housing & Development Authority (NAPHDA), the Bank of Punjab (BoP), & other banks.

The CM chaired over the 54th meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Finance & Development, which was held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, and during the meeting the CM revealed that Govt of Punjab government is permitting homeless people to buy private residences on simple instalments.
