Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari’s car was involved in an accident on Lahore’s Canal Road, close to the Jail Road underpass. The incident occurred as she was on her way to Punjab University to attend a scholarship event organized by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. Fortunately, Azma Bokhari was unharmed in the accident and quickly continued her journey in a different vehicle, ensuring she did not miss the event.
The accident also involved the car of Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora and a rickshaw. It was reportedly caused by sudden braking, which led to the collision. Despite the unexpected situation, both ministers were lucky to escape without any injuries.
So far, the authorities have not released more details about the circumstances of the accident. However, it appears that the incident did not significantly disrupt the ministers’ schedules, as Bokhari is expected to continue with her responsibilities without any interruptions. This fortunate outcome is a relief to all involved, as the accident could have had more serious consequences.
