Quaid-i-Azam University Announces Scholarship for M Phil & MS for Students

Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) has announced scholarships for MPhil and MS students through the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) for those admitted in the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 sessions. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is March 29.

To be eligible for the PEEF Master’s Level Scholarship, students must meet certain criteria. They should have Punjab domicile and achieved at least 60% marks or a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in their graduation exams held in 2021-22, 2022-23, or 2023-24 (spring and fall sessions) from Punjab. This includes completing at least sixteen years of schooling or a 4-year education after HSSC/FA/FSc/Grade 12 examination.

Students who have earned a BS degree from QAU are also eligible. Additionally, those who have been admitted as full-time students in the academic year 2023-24 at QAU can apply.

The monthly income of the parents (from all sources) should be equal to or less than Rs60,000. However, children of government employees in BPS 1-4 are exempt from this income condition if the salary is their only source of income. Children of civilians martyred in terrorist attacks are also exempt from this income condition.

Students who are not receiving any other educational scholarship during the current academic year and those who already hold MA, MSc, MS, or MPhil degrees are not eligible for the PEEF Master Level Scholarship.

In addition to meeting the PEEF eligibility criteria, students must also qualify for the merit and need criteria set by QAU or their respective degree-awarding institution.
