Rangers, FC, Coast Guards to Get Equal Salaries to Pakistan Army Personnel

The federal government has decided to bring the salaries of the Rangers and Frontier Corps (FC) in line with those of the Pakistan Army.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved a significant salary increase for the civil armed forces, amounting to about 56%, though the exact raise will depend on the rank of the personnel.

The Finance Ministry has approved the 2024 revised basic pay scale for these forces, with the highest raise being 55.76% or Rs31,810 per month.

This salary adjustment will impact various groups, including Punjab Rangers, Sindh Rangers, FC North and South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FC North and South Balochistan, Pakistan Coast Guards, Gilgit Baltistan Scouts, and Frontier Constabulary.

The move aims to provide better financial support to the personnel of these forces, recognizing their important role in maintaining security and stability in the country. By equalizing their salaries with those of the Pakistan Army, the government hopes to boost morale and ensure that these forces are adequately compensated for their service.
