Renowned Islamic Scholar Maulana Khalid Khalil Nomani Passes Away

Renowned scholar and scholar Maulana Khalid Khalil Nomani passed away in Karachi at the age of 83 after a brief illness.

Namaz-e-Janaza of the deceased was offered at Jamia Banori Town, which was attended by relatives as well as people associated with the department of teaching and learning.

Maulana Khalid Khalil Nomani also served in different countries of the world including Pakistan. He was eighty-three years old.

He has also written and written duties in Hamdard Institute with late Hakeem Muhammad Saeed in Karachi.

He was also sent by the Saudi government to the African country uganda for preaching and religious education. He founded the Islamic Center in Kenya.

He served as vice-principal of the Islamic Institute until 1979. He started the Taqwa Islamic Center in 1985 while serving in a religious and welfare organization in the coastal city of Mombasa, Kenya.

During his stay in Kenya, he built more than 30 mosques around the city, the late Maulana Khalid Khalil Nomani was also proficient in Arabic, English and Swahili languages.

He taught for two years at Jamia Rahmania Buffer Zone in Karachi and was also associated with the renowned religious seminary Jamia Uloom Islamia Allama Banori.
