Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has great news for motorists this New Year. Public parking will be free on December 31, 2023, and January 1, 2024, enjoy two days of complimentary parking, making the long weekend even more special.
Don’t miss out on this perk as paid parking resumes on January 2, 2024. Residents get a three-day weekend to welcome the new year, with January 1 being a public holiday.
On January 1, technical testing and customer service centres will be closed. For those relying on public transport, the Dubai Metro’s Red and Green lines will operate from 8 am on December 31, 2023, until 11.59 pm on January 1, 2024. Meanwhile, the Dubai Tram will be in service from 9 am on December 31, 2023, until 1 am on January 2, 2024.
