President of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi, has awarded Mr Salman Iqbal, President and CEO of ARY Digital Network, the Sitara-e-Imtiaz, Pakistan’s third-highest civilian award.
The President has announced three Nishan-e-Pakistan awards, two Hilal-e-Pakistan awards, six Hilal-e-Imtiaz awards, and 17 Sitara-e-Imtiaz awards. The distinction mark will be given to you.
Mr Salman Iqbal, the Karachi Kings of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) owner, will be honoured for his contributions to cricket. He just announced the launch of the 90-Ninety Bash, a new international cricket league based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
President Dr Arif Alvi also approved the Pakistan Civil Awards for 126 Pakistanis and international nationals who have demonstrated exceptional achievement and courage in various sectors. These honours will be presented on Pakistan Day the following year.
