Samsung to Use Recycled Ocean Plastics in Upcoming Galaxy Phones

According to recent news, Samsung Electronics has discovered a new material that gives ocean-bound plastics new life when it is incorporated into various Galaxy products.

The use of this material, which is made from repurposed ocean-bound waste fishing nets, is another step in their Galaxy for the Planet mission. It helps to reduce environmental footprint and create more sustainable lives for the Galaxy community.

Further, Samsung will use repurposed ocean-bound plastics in all of its products now and in the future, starting with their new Galaxy smartphones, which will be unveiled on February 9th, 2022.

These smartphones will reflect their continued efforts to reduce the usage of single-use plastics and increase the use of environmentally friendly materials such recycled post-consumer material (PCM) and recycled paper.

No doubt, Galaxy technology’s future will be marked by cutting-edge product design and less environmental impact as a result of this transformation.
