As per recent news, Sana Mir has quit the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in the middle of the season to compete in the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup.
Sana, Pakistani cricket commentator and former cricketer who served as a captain of the Pakistan national women’s cricket team in ODIs and T20Is, now works as a broadcaster, is the only Pakistani in the commentary panel.
Sana tried as a commentator in the National T20 Cup in 2020, and she has since worked on a number of international series hosted by Pakistan. However, her first major ICC event will be the 2018 Women’s World Cup.
As she prepared to leave for the ICC event, the right-arm off-spinner took to Twitter to thank her colleague commentator for making her experience so beautiful.
Sana had a illustrious and successful career before turning to commentary. She has played 120 One-Day Internationals and 106 Twenty-20 Internationals for Pakistan.
