The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Saudi Arabia have introduced a new educational visa program aimed at attracting foreign students and scholars to the country. This initiative, announced during the two-day Human Capacity Initiative conference in Riyadh, seeks to enhance the educational and research sectors.

Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan presided over the launching ceremony, which took place alongside the conference under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The program, facilitated through the “Study in Saudi Arabia” platform, streamlines the visa issuance process for international students interested in studying at Saudi universities.

The educational visa service is designed to simplify procedures and foster collaboration between the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and related sectors. By offering educational opportunities, the initiative aims to position Saudi Arabia as a prominent global educational hub.

Through the “Study in Saudi Arabia platform,” international students can easily apply for admission to Saudi universities, accessing various academic, training, and research programs. This initiative not only promotes academic and cultural exchange but also aligns with Saudi Vision 2030’s goals of developing the education sector and attracting skilled individuals.

Minister Al-Benyan highlighted the importance of global collaboration in human capital development, emphasizing its alignment with Saudi Vision 2030. He emphasized the significance of investing in teachers and educational programs to achieve long-term goals and enhance competencies in the education sector.
