Saudi Arabia has introduced a special food aid program in Pakistan for Ramadan 2025. Named the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Iftar and Dates Distribution Program, the initiative aims to support thousands of people in need during the holy month.
The program was officially launched in Islamabad by Pakistan’s Religious Affairs Minister, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, and Saudi Ambassador, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki. This effort reflects the strong friendship and cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
Under this initiative, 20 tons of dates will be distributed among 40,000 people, ensuring they have nutritious food for Ramadan. Additionally, Iftar meals will be provided to 30,000 individuals across the country. The distribution will take place in all provinces of Pakistan, reaching as many deserving people as possible.
The goal of this program is not just to provide food but also to spread kindness, generosity, and unity during Ramadan. Many families struggle to afford proper meals during this time, and this effort will help them observe their fasts with ease.
Saudi Arabia has a long history of supporting Pakistan, especially during religious and humanitarian efforts. This program continues that tradition, strengthening the deep ties between the two nations.
As Ramadan is a time of compassion and sharing, initiatives like this bring people together and remind them of the importance of helping others. Through this program, Saudi Arabia is making a meaningful difference in the lives of thousands of Pakistanis, ensuring they have enough food to break their fasts throughout the holy month.
