Saudi Arabia to Build King Salman Stadium with 92,000 Seats

Saudi Arabia has announced ambitious plans to build the King Salman Stadium in Riyadh, set for completion by 2029. The new stadium aims to be one of the largest sports venues in the world, reflecting the kingdom’s commitment to enhancing its sports infrastructure and hosting major international events.

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City and the Ministry of Sports revealed that the stadium will have a seating capacity of 92,000 spectators. This makes it one of the largest stadiums globally, capable of hosting a wide range of sports events, concerts, and other large-scale gatherings. The King Salman Stadium will cover more than 660,000 square meters, providing ample space for state-of-the-art facilities and amenities for both athletes and spectators.

The construction of the King Salman Stadium is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader vision to position itself as a leading destination for international sports and entertainment. By investing in such significant infrastructure projects, the kingdom aims to attract global attention and tourism, while also promoting local sports culture and providing world-class venues for its athletes. The stadium is expected to become a landmark in Riyadh, symbolizing the country’s rapid development and modernization.
