In a recent report by a News Channel, the Saudi government has announced its support for improving Dalbandin Airport, a small domestic airport located in Balochistan, Pakistan. With financial aid from Saudi Arabia, plans are in motion to upgrade the airport’s runway by adding a new layer of pavement.
This initiative aims to not only improve the airport’s overall appearance but also to ensure smoother landings for airlines operating in the area. The renovation work is set to begin next month, with the goal of addressing previous issues caused by the runway’s uneven surface.
Prior to this announcement, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) had made changes to car parking fees at Karachi airport. According to a CAA spokesperson, the parking fees for vehicles at Karachi airport have been increased to Rs100, marking a Rs10 increment. Additionally, a fee of Rs100 will be charged for parking a vehicle for up to three hours. Vehicles parked beyond the three-hour limit will incur additional charges, as stated by the spokesperson.
