Saudi Arabia to Introduce New Robotic System for Distribution of Zamzam Water

According to the sources, to maintain social distance and prevent contact to minimize the spread of COVID-19, Saudi Arabia has recently launched a new robotic system for distributing Zamzam among pilgrims in both the holy places of Mecca and Medina.

As per the news, the Head of the General Presidency for Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques in Mecca and Medina, Abdul Rahman Al Sudais, launched this new robotic system for the distribution of Holy Zamzam water in both holy places.

“Modern technology is increasingly utilized to serve mankind especially amid the coronavirus pandemic, which helps, Allah willing, protect worshippers in the Two Holy Mosques,” Al Sudais said at the event.

According to the official sources, Pilgrims will no longer need to wait in line to satisfy their thirst or share their bottles with anyone else. These robots have an automatic control system at six levels and can operate for five to eight hours without human intrusion.

Also, the designed robots work as shown by a programmed control framework and at six levels, guaranteeing a safe solid and ecological atmosphere and smart analysis of sterilization requirements. They are designed to reduce the possibility of contamination of the Zamzam water. Sources said.
