Saudi Arabia plans to build a Mars-themed city, develop a rose-growing industry, and create five luxury tourist resorts in Taif, with a total investment of $5 billion.
Businesses in the Kingdom have signed contracts worth $2.9 billion with Chinese and Korean firms during the Taif Investment Forum.
These contracts include the initial phase of the Mars-themed city, called Mars War, valued at $1.3 billion and potentially reaching $5.3 billion in the project’s final stage.
