A Saudi doctor, Dr. Awrad Mohammed Nasrallah, is being celebrated as a hero and has been honored with an award for her quick response in helping a man who fainted on an Air Canada flight.
Dr. Nasrallah, a scholarship student, immediately came forward when a flight attendant asked if there was a doctor onboard. She provided the man with first aid and administered IV fluids to help him regain consciousness. The Canadian aircrew maintained contact with medical staff on the ground, who approved her treatment plan, eliminating the need for an emergency landing.
Dr. Nasrallah’s actions exemplify her commitment as a medical professional to assist those in need, and she has been recognized for her excellence in the medical field, including being named among the top doctors in Alberta and receiving the Sr. Mark’s Award for her outstanding performance during the COVID-19 pandemic.
