The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, met with Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, according to the military media wing.
According to an Inter-Services Public Relations Pakistan release, Prince Faisal bin Farhan praised Pakistan’s role in the Afghan situation. Both parties discussed mutual interests, regional security, Afghanistan’s current circumstances, and bilateral defence relations.
The Pakistani top commander praised Saudi leadership for organising the 17th Extraordinary Session of the OIC CFM in Islamabad, noting that the meeting was critical in channelling international efforts and saving Afghanistan from looming security and humanitarian disasters.
