Saudi Troops arrive in Pakistan for two Months of Training: ISPR

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, a contingent of Royal Saudi Land Forces has arrived in Pakistan for joint mechanised training in the Multan garrison (ISPR).

“The Saudi Arabian forces’ presence is part of attempts to deepen current military cooperation between the two nations’ security forces,” the military’s media wing stated, adding that the training will last two months.

The ‘Pak-Saudi Joint Mechanized Training’ kicked off with a ceremony at the Multan garrison. The main guest on this occasion was General Officer Commanding Major General Zafar Iqbal Marwat. The inaugural ceremony included participation by troops from both countries.

Through a thorough training programme, the combined training aims to strengthen and share knowledge. It stated, “Drills and procedures will be practiced, and tactical exercises will be conducted to refine them.”
