The Makkah-Madinah Haramain railway is now being driven by Saudi women. A video of women driving trains and receiving training while seated in the driver’s cabin was made public by Saudi Railways.
The Saudi women may be seen completing their duties on the train in a social media video footage that has gone viral. 31 indigenous women have successfully completed the training to operate high-speed trains, according to Saudi Railways.
One of the quickest trains in the world is the Makkah-Madinah Haramain.
Sara Al Shehri, a Saudi woman, has stated that she and her colleagues “have had the honour of running a high-speed train, which I am proud of, for the first time in the Middle East.”
