Saudis in Makkah can Now Rent Out their Homes to Hajj Pilgrims

The Makkah Mayoralty’s Pilgrims’ Housing Committee has announced that it has begun collecting requests from residents to rent out residential properties to house the Hajj pilgrims.

The committee urged owners of all residential units who intended to rent out their homes to pilgrims to get in touch with the designated engineering offices right once to complete the necessary paperwork for providing permits for their homes in this regard.

The mayoralty announced that it will continue to accept citizen applications over the ensuing time.

The mayoralty and the Civil Defense have authorised a number of engineering consulting firms to examine the pilgrims’ dwelling units to see if they complied with the regulations’ terms and circumstances and to provide a fitness certificate.
