From September 5, all the educational institutes across Balochistan would reopen, weeks after the destructive floods in the country’s sparsely populated region.
The provincial administration decided to reopen educational institutes. However, flood could raise the school dropout rates.
Mir Naseebullah Khan Marri, Provincial Education Minister took the decision to reopen all the educational institutes from 5 September.
Whereas, educational institutes in the highly affected areas Naseerabad and Jafarabad would be operational later.
Prior month, schools and colleges were closed on account of abnormal havoc monsoon.
