Pakistan’s former captain and great cricketer Shahid Afridi heaped admiration on Lahore Qalandars for their inaugural triumph in the Pakistan Super League final, saying, “Shaheen Shah Afridi, you are a champion indeed.”
The Lahore Qalandars overpowered the Multan Sultans by 42 runs on Sunday, as the Shaheen-led side put on a clinical display and did not disappoint their fans, claiming their first-ever PSL title in seven editions.
Shahid Afridi took to Twitter to say, “The entire Qalandars squad, and indeed the entire city of Lahore, deserve this!” “Mubarak Mubarak.”
