Shahnawaz Dahani, Pakistan pacer representing Pakistan in the Asia Cup, even though his village got completely submerged as the country is facing havoc ongoing situation caused by abnormal monsoon rains.
Pakistan is facing devastation in which approximately 1,033 people lost their lives whereas many lost their homes, animals and crops and are forced to leave their homes and take shelter somewhere else.
Dahani, who is playing for Pakistani cricket team right now belongs to Khawar Khan Dahani village located in Sindh’s Larkana.
As per post on social media, his whole village is under flood water and there is no electricity for days in his home town.
The cricket star appealed the government and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to support the families going though the current flood situation in Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab.
Pakistan pacer highlighted the areas of the country that have suffered due to heavy monsoon rains.
He further asked to the people who are stuck in flood areas to stay together and be there for eachother.
Dahani participated in Asia Cup and played his first match against India on 28 August T20, during which he struck two massive sixes to help Pakistan reached score at 147.
