Shoaib Malik comes from a cricketing family! While the Pakistani all-rounder has been playing at the highest level even at the age of 39, his nephew, Muhammad Huraira, has now become the second-youngest hitter in Pakistan cricket history to slam a triple tonne.
Huraira has been on fire in the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. At the age of 19 years and 239 days, the batter achieved a triple century in his debut season of First-Class cricket. He is now the second-youngest triple century hitter in First-Class cricket in the country.
Huraira is the eighth-youngest player in First-Class Cricket history to score 300 runs in a single innings. In Pakistan, a total of 23 cricketers have scored triple tonnes.
