Shoaib Akhtar, the famous Pakistani cricketer, has taken legal action against the makers of his supposed biopic. He has obtained a stay order from the court, which means that the filming and release of the film have been temporarily halted until a final decision is reached in the ongoing legal battle. Akhtar shared this development on Instagram, where he posted a screenshot of his Facebook announcement regarding the stay order.
In his post, he cautioned anyone involved in the project about the potential legal consequences and damage to their reputation. The attached notice from Akhtar’s lawyer provides more details about the court order, stating that the producer of the biopic, titled “Rawalpindi Express,” is prohibited from shooting, filming, or releasing any part of the film through any media platform, including social media and cinemas, until a final decision is made in the lawsuit.
