The Sikh community in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPcapital )’s city has resumed its charitable act of providing food to fasting Muslims throughout the holy month of Ramadan with the aim of fostering love, fraternity, respect, and honour among people of all faiths.
Every year, the group, which is dispersed throughout the nation’s regions, including Peshawar, organises iftar and distributes food to Muslims who are fasting in an effort to honour Ramadan.
Once Ramadan gets underway, the city’s Sikh citizens come out to plan iftar feasts and advertise special discounts in their shops for Muslims who are fasting, in addition to assisting the underprivileged fasting faithful by delivering food to their doorsteps.
