The Sindh Social Protection Authority (SSPA), under the Government of Sindh, has announced a job opening for the position of MIS Specialist. This opportunity is part of the World Bank-supported initiative to strengthen the social protection system in Sindh. The position is being offered on a contractual basis under the Strengthening Social Protection Delivery System in Sindh (SSPDS) project.
Background of the Project
The Government of Sindh has received financial support from the International Development Association (IDA) through a credit facility to enhance the province’s social protection mechanisms. The Strengthening Social Protection Delivery System in Sindh project is a critical initiative aimed at improving the quality, efficiency, and inclusiveness of social protection services in the province.
Position Details: MIS Specialist
Qualifications:
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in disciplines such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, or similar fields from an HEC-recognized university.
Experience:
- A minimum of six (6) years of experience in software design, development, and deployment for large-scale systems.
- At least four (4) years in a Technical Lead position, specializing in software development using modern technologies.
Skills:
- Proficiency in software development with substantial hands-on experience.
- Strong presentation, communication, and writing skills.
- The ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and work in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
