The rock clipart from the EtherRock NFT collection was auctioned for the “modest” price of 400 ETH (about $1.3 million).
EtherRock’s collection is made up of 100 NFTs that represent a JPEG of rocks created and sold on Ethereum’s network. And it could be due to the limited quantity, but one of the 2017 brand’s one-of-a-kind items sold for nearly $1 million today.
The EtherRock 100 collection is now completely sold out, with only 33 remaining on the official website for resale. About 20% of the clipart pebbles in the collectible token format are expected to be in wallets that are no longer in use.
