Starbucks Faces Lawsuit Over Offensive Name Misspelling on Customer’s Drink Order

A customer in Starbucks Malaysia is upset because she says the barista wrote the wrong name on her drink. Instead of writing her name as “Bavi,” the barista wrote “Babi.” The customer, Bavitra Ramachandran, shared her frustration on social media and said she plans to take legal action against the coffee chain.

Bavitra believes that the mistake made by Starbucks Malaysia’s staff is not acceptable because they should know that nobody’s name starts with “Babi.”
