On Wednesday, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced five days of holidays in honor of Eid ul Fitr, a religious festival observed by Muslims worldwide.
The central bank, issued the notification in the regards, declared that the bank will stay shut from April 21 to 25 (Friday to Tuesday).
It is important to note that the federal government had also approved a five-day holiday, which Muslims look forward to the most because it ends the holy month of fasting.
According to reports in the media, the government may increase the Eid holidays from the current five days to six.
