On Saturday night, there was an earthquake in different parts of the country, including Islamabad, the capital city. The earthquake measured 5.8 on the Richter scale, with its epicenter located 47 kilometers southwest of Jurm in Afghanistan, at a depth of 207 kilometers.
Tremors were felt in several areas, such as Lahore, Peshawar, Lower Dir, Bajaur, Haripur, Sheikhupura, and Rawalakot.
In places where the tremors were strong, people came out of their houses, praying for their safety. The earthquake caused fear and panic among the people.
The authorities have asked for a report to assess any potential damage caused by the earthquake. So far, there have been no reports of loss of life or property.
