Under an initiative by the Sindh Governor, IT students will now have the chance to attend online classes with Professor Randall Kroszner, a renowned academic from Harvard University and the University of Chicago. In a recent meeting with Governor Kamran Tessori, they discussed the new program where Professor Kroszner will teach IT students twice a week through online sessions.
During the meeting, Professor Kroszner praised the Governor for his efforts, particularly the “Umeed ki Ghanti” (Bell of Hope) IT initiative and a ration drive aimed at helping the underprivileged. He expressed his appreciation for the chance to contribute to these causes and teach students involved in the programs.
Governor Tessori also shared details of a new initiative to help IT students by subsidizing their Google certification fees.
After discussions with the Google team, they reached an agreement to provide Google certifications to students who pass the qualifying exams. This will give students the opportunity to improve their skills and pursue online business activities to earn a living.
This initiative highlights the Governor’s commitment to supporting IT education and empowering students with the skills needed for a brighter future.
With online classes from a top academic like Professor Kroszner and the chance to earn Google certifications, students will have valuable opportunities to advance their careers.
