The January 2023 auto sales report from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) has been made public. Toyota Fortuner and Hyundai Nishat Motors Private Limited (HNMPL) and Honda Atlas Cars Limited (HACL) have dethroned Alto, and unexpectedly, it is now at the bottom of the list. The data reveals that various demographic groups have different experiences. In general, the worsening economic condition has generated major issues for the auto industry.
After two unstable months, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has seen an approximate increase in production.
Due to problems with the supply chain and production, sales have decreased at Hyundai Nishat Motors Private Limited (HNMPL), Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC), and Honda Atlas Cars Limited (HACL), respectively.
Due to limitations and Pakistan’s issues with economics, the companies are also having trouble importing parts. As a result, several large corporations are compelled to halt production. These factors collectively have an adverse effect on sales.
Sales may cause the auto industry to go through another boom era after the economy has stabilized.
